BACKGROUND
I am a qualified Social Worker with experience working as a Case Manager in a Youth Offending Team.
As part of my roles I have been responsible for supervising young people subject to Court Orders, producing Pre Sentence Reports, and facilitating Offending Behaviour Programmes, which focus on deterrence.
I believe the opportunity for a turning point should be accessed within the community before young people come into contact with the Criminal Justice System.
